St Ives has been part of my life since I was almost one. My family and I came every year at the end of May into June for a week. We stayed at the Chy-an-Dour Hotel which was in the most perfect location overlooking the bay and St Ives. I have included some old scanned colour slides from the 60’s. I stayed with my parents till I was about 16 or 17. Then I started staying with girl friends, then my wife and with our children. We stayed self catering, camping and hotels. When St Ives was packed we started staying in Hayle just down the road from St Ives. Then in 2014 we purchased a house in Hayle.
