In 2013 I spent a week on my own with my camera in Greece. I flew into Santorini then took a boat to Ios and Mykonos.

Santorini
Thousands of people gather here at Oia every evening to watch the sun set. Then when it goes down below the horizon they all clap and cheer as if it's never done this before.
At night Fira and all the towns light up.
Three images of the same location as the light and colours change within an hour.
In the summer you are almost guaranteed to have a perfect sunset every night in Santorini.
Once the sun sets the colours in the sky turn from orange to dark blue.
